“I would highly recommend Trencher Hire” – that was the verdict of the Chairman of Chew Valley Rugby Club in Bristol after a 650 metres long trench was dug out to a depth of 600mm in just five hours!

Shane Cameron, who is also a Director of Farmington Masonry LLP, said the Toro TRX20 had been hired with an operator to cut a trench for cabling to floodlighting to two of their pitches.

 

“The operator was very efficient and the work was carried out far quicker than we had anticipated,” he commented. One of the pitches had new flood lighting installed, whilst the other one had the cabling replaced.

He added that they were very grateful to local company Ace Electrical that had freely given their time and provided the cabling and expertise for the flood lighting installation.

Chew Valley Rugby Club was established in 1969 and runs teams from the age of six through to 19.
