Trencher Hire Provides Top Service
Carrier Landscapes has solved the drainage problems occurring in the back garden of a house in Lutterworth with the help of Trencher Hire UK, who supplied a Toro TR-16 machine with operator.
Ben Burton, Area Manager South for Carrier Landscapes, said that the soil was not the greatest to work with and contained some clay within it. “We stripped down 50 square metres of turf before the trenching was carried out to a depth of 300mm and 100mm wide.
“We then laid a layer of gravel down before backfilling with soil and then returfing the lawn. The trenching was done and dusted in two hours. The trencher operator did a top quality job – it was a fantastic piece of work,” he said.
Prior to the work undertaken, the compactness of the soil meant that the water struggled to drain through, but this has now been resolved. Ben added: “We completed the work within a day and our customer was very happy with the result.”
