Steve, who hired a TRX-16 trencher with operator, commented: “The machine was very manoeuvrable and dug out a 30 metres long channel to a depth of 600mm and four inches wide. The people at Trencher hire have been fantastic and did a very clean and tidy job in around two hours." The cable was run via some tails from the existing electricity system at the house and, said Steve, a new terminal was also installed.
