“Delivered when promised, performed as suggested and collected promptly!” That was the verdict o`f Shane Manley on Trencher Hire’s service and quality of machine provided for a job at Otter Falls holiday park in Devon.

 

Shane, Director of Cutting Edge Technologies, took out a two-day hire of a Vermeer RTX200, with a 750mm boom, to ‘cut-out’ a 500m long, 300mm deep and 150mm wide trench to install fibre optic cable for wi-fi, internet and television services to all the lodges on site. (Cutting Edge Technologies have been installing Structured Cabling and associated technologies for more than a decade).

 

“We had a smaller trencher of our own, but it was not man enough for the job. The Vermeer was brilliant and in immaculate condition when we received it. The service from Trencher Hire was excellent – delivered on time by a courteous driver. Everything was ‘spot-on’ – all sadly pretty rare these days!”

 

Otter Falls contains traditional stone cottages and modern pine lodges within a park with lakes and woodland trails along the banks of the River Otter.
